Godal, Eric (i.e. Erich Goldbaum, Godal, also worked under the pseudonym Guy de Laurence), born 1899 in Berlin, died 1969 in Hamburg, was a German painter, politcal cartoonist, and illustrator who emigrated to America in the 1930s. While still in germany in 1920s, he found himself in trouble with the authorities when they siezed some of his erotic artwork.
